Hotel Spálov

Our company SUNDISK s.r.o. was discussing a purchase and reconstruction of former Hotel pod Spálovem, our favorite tourist destination, in 2019. After paying part of the purchase price in March 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic hit us hard and we faced the decision to end the whole project. Our original plan was postponed by two months. Luckily, with the help of new investors, we were able to complete the purchase and at the beginning of June 2020, the necessary repairs could begin. 

July - December 2020

During this time, we were able to make more parking places for our customers and tourists, solve the garbage collection, make access to toilets for visitors to the area and we were able to start a small reconstruction of hotel rooms. A nearby cabin also went through reconstruction and was available for rent. 

2021

Reconstruction of the accommodation and gastronomic part of the hotel. 

January - June 2022

At the beginning of 2022, the restaurant area obtained an addition of a new building and a terrace to increase the restaurant's capacity. We also came up with a plan for the revitalization of the surroundings and the reconstruction of a driveway and parking area. 

2023

We are planning on building an exposition for visitors, which will consist of historical photos, showing the history of the hotel and its surroundings - The unique bridge across the Kamenice river (1938), Hotel pod Spálovem (1929), The Hydroelectric station (1926), Rieger's Trail (2909). 

SUNDISK s.r.o.

We are a family company residing in Jablonec nad Nisou. Our main business activity is organizing creative events for domestic and foreign corporate clients. We are divided into three parts - SUNDISK events, SUNDISK catering, and SUNDISK family. The latter offers leisure services for the whole family, such as boat and scooter rentals, accommodation, and catering facilities in Bohemian Paradise. Its main base is by the Jizera river in a beautiful village called Malá Skála. You can also find the SUNDISk family brand on the Nisa river or the Dyje river in south Moravia. 

Our main concern is satisfied customers, good neighborly relations, and respect for nature in which we live together. We take care of our facilities and their surroundings in such a way that our business is sustainable and safe for future generations. We have been through hard times between 2020 and 2022 but we strongly believe that with you, our customers, we will overcome these crises!
